The Smile

The Smile is one of our favorite spots in NoHo. Grab a wonderful cup of coffee and a slice of banana nut bread and thank us later. Enjoy the warm and fun energy of The Smile under their outdoor, heated pergola.

They’ve perfectly curated a space that is simply just a vibe, and it’s a warm one with the heated situation they’ve built with dining restrictions. The Elk is a relaxed, peaceful environment in SoHo attached to a general store — the perfect place to enjoy a morning or afternoon brew in the neighborhood. Head over to Baba Cool in Fort Greene and you’ll find a lovely cafe that will make you want to stay all day, even in the coldest of temps. Baba Cool offers more than a wonderful cup of coffee — they’ve got a menu full of brunch-y plates and bites to fill you up. They’ve recently finished a marvelous outdoor setting that is spacious and welcoming for any casual gathering with a friend or solo.

Blank Slate

Anywhere with little pod-housing in their outdoor dining setup is an immediate yes for us. Blank Slate in midtown has a selection of covid-restriction-approved housing on their outdoor patio space so you can enjoy whatever your heart desires from their quaint cafe and coffee shop without being bothered by the weather or the wind or space between you and a neighbor.

Spot Dessert Bar

Spot Dessert Bar is a great spot off of Prince street with desserts that will make your mouth drool with just one look at their Instagram. This gem in East Village is a really fun spot to switch up your usual coffee run or date. Add something sweet to your coffee rotation and put a Strawberry Shortcake Sundae on the bill.

Sweatshop is one of Williamsburg’s finest coffee establishments and we are so happy that they offer a heated outdoor situation to dine and hang and just enjoy the lively Williamsburg energy. PS - the avocado toast here is next-level. Give it a try.

Ansley Eudy

Never passing up an opportunity for a laugh or a big hug, you can find Ansley, complete with her Atlanta accent and ray-of-sunshine-personality in Brooklyn. 

Born and raised in Georgia, Ansley spent most of her early twenties living on the beautiful Florida panhandle and spent a little over a year in Charlotte, NC before finally planting her roots and her heart in Brooklyn.  When she’s not behind-the-scenes for Girl and The, she’s very likely to be holding a baby somewhere, organizing a closet, or jogging in Prospect Park listening to her favorite trap music or psychology podcast.

Ansley brings attention detail, incredible penmanship, an obsession with streamlining processes and order to everything she touches, as well as a love for self-help and mental health. She’s a proponent of therapy and will encourage everyone she knows to never be afraid to ask for help or invest in their own wellness journey. Needless to say, she is an integral part of the team.
