The Road to a Vaccine: Johnson & Johnson's Journey to a Cure for COVID-19

The Covid-19 pandemic is one of the greatest challenges to our society in living memory. It’s wild when I think about the fact that this is something my parents and their parents haven’t experienced. We’re truly living in unprecedented times and while we’re constantly reminded that there is no guidebook on how to get through a pandemic, I’m beyond honored to be a partner of Johnson & Johnson. J&J is a company that is banding together to not only find a vaccine and support frontline heroes, but educate us through the process.

Johnson & Johnson has put together an eight-episode educational video series (hosted by Lisa Ling, who I absolutely STAN) examines the latest efforts to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and break down the complex process of developing a vaccine.

Each week Lisa Ling talks to leading scientists and researchers, healthcare workers on the front lines and public health experts around the world working collaboratively to help bring an end to the deadly pandemic.

We all know you’ve got countless shows queued up to binge during Quarantine, so do yourself a major favor and add The Road to a Vaccine to your watch list.

In 1918, Johnson & Johnson supported the doctors and nurses treating Spanish influenza through scientific innovation, so they know a thing or two about fighting pandemics. They have deployed the full strength of their company to focus on developing resources to overcome Covid-19.

The world is mourning and heartbroken by the lives lost and the strain on our institutions and communities; but through it all, Johnson & Johnson has gathered countless people to offer the world a reason to feel pride, inspiration and hope through it all.

Johnson & Johnson’s CEO has been in the healthcare industry for 31 years and said, “I have never seen a moment so rich in collaboration, ingenuity and acts of bravery. Public health authorities, private sector companies, research universities, governments and, most of all, the heroes on the front lines of care are mobilizing in ways that current generations have never before witnessed.”

From bandaids to Covid-19, Johnson & Johnson is always right there innovating healthcare and I couldn’t be more proud to partner with them as they take us on The Road to a Vaccine.

Head over to Instagram and let me know what you think of the series. Can’t wait to discuss with you!
