Aaa…Christmas time in New York City! We’ve seen the city captured during the holidays in countless movies and in our dreams. I guarantee you that it lives up to all the hype (and the crowds). There’s no shortage of things to do, see and eat during the holidays in NYC, but I’ve rounded up the 10 must-dos for you.

1. Head on over to Rolf’s (@rolfsnyc) for over the top décor in all the best ways⁣ (I skip the food here + come strictly for the cocktails and gaudy sights).⁣⁣

2. New York City has no shortage of tall, majestic, well-lit Christmas trees, but the Lotte New York Palace (@newyorkpalace) is home to my personal favorite tree. It also serves up major Gossip Girl vibes since it’s the same courtyard from the show. While you’re in the area walk through @rockefellercenter to catch that other popular tree at Rockfeller Center too and maybe grab a hot beverage from the v adorable @ralphscoffee truck.⁣⁣

3. I’m a sucker for a good Christmas Market. The food, the cider, the mulled wine…ooo la la! @bryantpark’s Winter Village reminds me of the out-of-this-world incredible holiday markets in France + Germany (@bakedcheesehaus is there serving my beloved Raclette, so run there stat to devour all the ooey gooey cheese).

4. Explore the ridiculously amazing holiday lights in Dyker Heights. ⁣⁣⁣This neighborhood wins for the BEST decorated homes I have EVER seen in one neighborhood.

5. The @saks light show is fab, but my favorite holiday windows will always be at @bergdorfs⁣. Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Gucci and Louis Vuitton also tend to go all out. @bloomingdales has a really fun, techie, interactive thing going on too this year (and a super cool holiday astrology journey inside).⁣ Walk all long 5th Avenue to take in the lights and sights.

6. Channel your inner Kevin McAllister at @theplazahotel. Whether you opt for a cocktail or tea in the boujee lobby or devour treats in the much more casual Food Hall this place is an NYC holiday dream. Stroll through Central Park after to see where Kevin met the Bird Lady + stop for a cocktail or snack at the decked out @tavernonthegreen. ⁣⁣⁣

7. Visit #snowdayinbrooklyn, the cutest, most delicious holiday pop-up experience with the best festive cocktails, at @sundayinbrooklyn. I love it so much i spent NYE there last year! ⁣⁣⁣

9. Sip cider + explore the many holiday markets. The world famous @strasbourgxmasmarketnyc (my birthplace + capital of noél) is visiting New York City at Bowling Green for 10 days only. My personal favorites are at @unionsquareny@grandcentralnyc + Columbus Circle.⁣⁣

10. Take the kids in your life (or just embrace your inner child, which is me 24/7) to the @nybotanicalgarden Holiday Train Show. ⁣⁣⁣
