The Happiest Happy Hours in NYC

The weather is heating up and Gov Cuomo lifted the dining curfews and restrictions (active May 17th) so we thought it was very important to bring you a well-curated list of the happy hours in NYC that you just shouldn’t miss out on. We’ve got a spot for every cuisine, every scene, and every neighborhood, so without saying anything else, let’s all cheers to being #waxedandvaxxed and celebrate a happy hour together in the most amazing city of all time.

The Grey Dog

The Grey Dog is a classic, chill and completely relaxed place to post up for a happy hour - stop by any day of the week from 4-7 and enjoy a $3 beer, $4 rosè, $5 spiked palmers and of course, 50 cent wings.

Two Hands

Two Hands is a really fun Australian spot in TriBeCa and Williamsburg that has an amazing (small but mighty) cocktail menu with all day drinks that are only $10, ranging from a mimosa to a rosemary rosado. This special is served all day long (which is amazing) so you’re not limited to a short window to get your groove on.

Jack’s Wife Freda

Head on over to Jack’s Wife Freda from 3-6 and take a slow seat at this amazing spot in the West Village.

Dante

From 3-6pm stop by Dante NYC and grab a drink for the nice price of $10 and if you’re looking for a rec, the margarita should be at the top of your list.

June

June Wine bar is one of the best hidden gems of Brooklyn, tucked away in the quaint and charming neighborhood of Cobble Hill. June Wine Bar has an amazing selection of wines to choose from if you’re not in the mood for a speciality cocktail.

Walters

Walter’s in Fort Greene has a selection of 8 classic cocktails up for grabs for happy hour from 4:30 - 7:00pm including half off all bar snacks (go for the mini crab cakes) and you can get any red and white by the glass ate $5 pop and all draught beer $4 a glass.

Jeffrey’s

Jeffrey’s is a magical happy hour spot in the West Village, with well-garnished oysters for $1.50 a pop and great drinks like a $10 glass of Prosecco and a $5 Lager.

Jungle Bird

Jungle Bird is a Chelsea staple that has an early-bird menu with special pricing that is available until 7pm. The So Whatcha Want cocktail is alone worth the time scheduling to make the happy hour.

Rosie’s

Rosie’s is the only place you need to go to if you’re looking for the best margarita in NYC for $8. Is there anything else you could want?!

Portalè

You can enjoy a wonderful happy hour from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on the outdoor patio at the remarkable Portalè of Chelsea. A few signature cocktails ($9-$12), wines ($10), and beers ($8) can be paired with small bites ($3-$12).

Mister Paradise

This popular East Village bar's happy hour is 5-6 and where cocktails are $9, beers go for $4 and an their classic and amazing burger is $9 (you should seriously try it ASAP).

Freeman’s

Freeman’s happy hour rocks with cocktails 1/2 priced from 5-8 p.m.

The Wayland

$8 Cocktails; $1 Oysters $5 Oyster Shooters; $7 Glasses Of Wine; $4-5 Beer at the Wayland Street, E 9th St in Manhattan.

The Wild Son

The Wild Son in Meatpacking has a fun Happy Hour Tuesday through Friday from 4-7pm with

$1 selection of oysters + additional food available. Classic Cocktails for $9 and $3 off wine.

Epistrophy

One of NoLita’s best known spots is Epistrophy - an Italian gem with charm in one of the most electric neighborhoods in Manhattan. Hop on by between 4-7 to take advantage of the $6 wine and $9 cocktails.

Malibu Farm at Pier 17 is the most fun spot to grab a drink and transport to the west coast with a drink or two at an amazing happy hour price. The Smoked Peach Gilmet is the perfect happy hour treat. View Malbu Farms happy hour menu here.

Never passing up an opportunity for a laugh or a big hug, you can find Ansley, complete with her Atlanta accent and ray-of-sunshine-personality in Brooklyn. 

Born and raised in Georgia, Ansley spent most of her early twenties living on the beautiful Florida panhandle and spent a little over a year in Charlotte, NC before finally planting her roots and her heart in Brooklyn.  When she’s not behind-the-scenes for Girl and The, she’s very likely to be holding a baby somewhere, organizing a closet, or jogging in Prospect Park listening to her favorite trap music or psychology podcast.

Ansley brings attention detail, incredible penmanship, an obsession with streamlining processes and order to everything she touches, as well as a love for self-help and mental health. She’s a proponent of therapy and will encourage everyone she knows to never be afraid to ask for help or invest in their own wellness journey. Needless to say, she is an integral part of the team.
